Details Itinerary
A member of our team will meet you at your hotel to give you the briefing and all the necessary information regarding your safari to and answer all the questions that you might have, then transfer to Zanzibar Airport. Departure from Zanzibar airport at 07h00, arrive in Mikumi Airstrip at 08h00; received by our safari guide. Directly you will start a safari game drive touring the game-rich area of Mkata plains. The plain is very famous for its concentrations of wildlife. Also visiting the famous Hippo pool whereby many come to drink water. Picnic lunch during lunchtime at the specified picnic site, then proceed with your journey exploring the African bushes before return to the airstrip at around 15h45 for your arranged flight back to Zanzibar.

The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the fashionable centrepiece of Mikumi, draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti Plains. The park has high concentrations of animals commonly seen in Africa parks, including lions, elephants, zebra, giraffes, warthogs, wildebeest, impala and buffalo herds.
